1998
MITEC is founded on the initiative of Maurizio Viviani, with the aim of transforming technical expertise into innovative solutions for highly complex applications.
2002
The company grows: 4 employees and a new 320 m² production site.
2006
Introduction of the first 3D CAD software.
2010
Process digitalisation: precision becomes virtual as well.
2012
Internal development of optimised cams begins, for maximum productivity, and the team expands.
2016
MITEC integrates NC axis sizing and launches FEM analysis: design and simulation merge.
2020
Move to the current headquarters: 900 m² optimised, with a fully customised new 3D CAD.
2023
Headquarters expanded to 1.200 m² with the addition of a dedicated testing area.
2025
The team reaches 15 employees, with an average age of 30, and the testing area doubles. Total area now 1.600 m².

MITEC’s headquarter is located in Primaluna (Lecco), in the Valsassina valley, 50 km north of Milan. A facility designed to operate with zero environmental impact, thanks to a photovoltaic system and certified energy management systems.
